Thomas Tison said : "I am super happy to see this project foiling"

The Mini 6.50 has finally touched the water and is foiling. The boat is currently undergoing testing conducted by the yard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel, Germany.
Thomas Tison said : "I am super happy to see this project foiling. I love how the boat looks fast already, the crew forward to replicate the push from the sails up in the rig. The white and black painting scheme done by the yard looks awesome...as sharp as a razor on the water. I and my team have put together plans for a second generation to take this project to the next level with a different yard set up. This little animal can fly 40 kts with the proper keel and foil, in a wide range of foiling conditions".
The addition of the rudder gantry adds 1 meter of boat length for a faster and easier boat to sail.
Including bowsprit boat length reaches 11 meters while sailing.
