The Franco-Italian geologist of 39 years old Alessandro di Benedetto accomplished this July a solo round the world tour, without making stopover, on the race course of the Vendée Globe. He made it in 268 days on board a mini 650

and he is the SeaSailSurfer of July 2010.
He left Les Sables d’Olonne in 2009 on October 26th at 10:26 am. And he arrived in the french port on July 22nd at 06:02 am. His record Record #sailingrecord time is officially of 268 days 19h 36’ 12". It is a first aboard a yacht under 32’.
